Project Leo is a Satellite telecommunication project, being promoted by a group of Nigerian Investors on the platform of Globaltouch (West Africa) Limited in partnership with Globalstar Inc, USA (www.globalstar.com).
Globaltouch is a Nigerian Company Licensed by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) as Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite (GMPCS) Gateway Operator and Service Provider.
Globalstar is a leading worldwide GMPCS Network operator with 48 Low Earth Orbit Satellite (LEO) already launched. Globalstar currently has 26 Earth Gateway spread across the globe with service coverage in over 120 Countries.
The Nigerian Gateway is expected to be completed and operational in the next 12 months which will extend Globalstar's coverage to Africa.
Global Partners supported Globaltouch to prepare and develop a 5-Year Business Plan, source for a $10m US Exim Project Finance Facility with the Guarantee of a Nigerian Bank. We also provided documentation and marketing support for the Private Placement of 300m Shares of Globaltouch which was fully subscribed.
